These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time and apply to all of our services.
By accessing, browsing, using and/or completing a reservation through our (mobile) website you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below.
TripZig is a tour operator, offering a wide range of adventure tours in Iceland.
Bookings can be made directly through TripZig, its sub-brands and/or any other website through which TripZig makes their services available. If you are having any problems booking through TripZig website www.www.tripzig.com then please contact our team members through [email protected]
TripZig reserves the right to alter itineraries and/or timetables should it be necessary, due to adverse weather and or other related conditions. TripZig is not responsible for expenses and/or other related costs due to factors outside of its control, such as flight delays, changes and or cancellations, injuries, weather, war, natural disasters, etc. and/or other unforeseeable matters. You are responsible for providing TripZig with the correct contact information and related details so that we can keep you informed in the event of changes made to the services booked.
2. Prices
Prices for the Services provided by TripZig are in Icelandic Kronas (ISK). For your convenience, only TripZig sets forth the prices on its Websites in US. Dollars (USD) and seeks to update the pricing in USD regularly following currency fluctuations.
In some tours offered by TripZig, up to two children/youth (ages 2 – 17 years) may travel at the children/youth fare with each customer paying the full adult fare.
3. Cancellations & refunds
All cancellations shall be emailed to [email protected]. Most of the Services offered on the Website and/or the Sites are fully refundable when canceled up to 72 hours before departure under the Cancellation Policy. The Cancellation Policy is noted on all applicable services with a duration of 24 hours or less. Specific cancellation and refund policies are noted in the description details. Refunds may take up to 14 business days. In case of a cancellation or change of schedule or tour by TripZig, you will be notified via email/phone call. In any case of cancellation or change, you will be offered a new date or a new tour or a full refund.
4. Pick up services
TripZig offers complimentary pick-up services for most of its Day Tours and Airport Transfers. Pick up is 15 minutes before the scheduled departure.
You are responsible for your pick up and must be in front of your hotel/guesthouse and visible from the street or at a designated bus stop. TripZig reserves the right to change the meeting point.
Missing the pick-up and/or the tour does not entitle you to a refund of the price paid for the Services.
5. Baggage on our Airport Transfer
Customer is allowed to take two bags weighing up to 30 kg each. Baggage must be clearly labeled. TripZig acknowledges that baggage is designed to protect its content.
6. Lost & found
If you lose clothes and/or other items in your possession during your trip with us, you can contact us by sending an e-mail to [email protected]
TripZig takes no liability for any kind of damage and/or loss of items in its vehicles.
In the event an item is found in our vehicle, TripZig takes it aside and keeps it for 21 days from the date it is found. If you contact us within the time-limited mentioned and the item is found, you must provide us with an address to send it to as soon as practicable. You must pay the cost of delivering the item. In the event we do not have an address, we will give the item to charity and accept no liability for the item being given to charity.
7. Food & beverages
Food and beverages are not allowed on our vehicles.
8. Included
All admissions to sites, museums or exhibitions visited are included unless otherwise stated in the tour description.
9. Excluded
Unless specifically listed, meals and refreshments are not included. During full-day excursions, there is a lunch stop at a local restaurant.
10. Languages
Guidance is in English.
11. Clothing
Appropriate footwear and suitable outdoor clothing must be worn. We reserve the right to refuse participation to customers who are dressed inappropriately or with inappropriate footwear since this will put the client’s well-being and safety at risk.
12. Alcohol and drugs:
We reserve the right to refuse participation to clients we believe are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, in such circumstances, no refund shall be given. Our guides reserve the right to refuse participation to any customer whose conduct or manner is likely to offend, upset or put other passengers in danger. In such cases, full cancellation charges apply.
13. Reviews & Feedback
TripZig welcomes all feedback, both positive as well as negative as it helps us improve our overall services, and performance. We would greatly appreciate it if you could share your tour experience with us.
Please note that all complaints must reach TripZig within 5 days from the completion of your tour. Otherwise, possible compensation is not valid.
If you, for some reason, are not satisfied with our Services, please contact us as soon as possible.
14. Photography and filming
It is allowed to take photoes and videos during stops on our tours. Please note that it is not allowed to fly drones during our stops as most sites do not allow drone flights.
We remind passengers to be considerate when taking pictures where other people might be visible.
II. MODIFICATION OF TERMS & CONDITIONS
TripZig reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify the Website and/or the Sites or to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time and without prior notice. If the Terms & Conditions are modified, we will notify the modification by posting the modification on the Website and/or the Sites. Any modification to the Terms & Conditions will be effective at the time of posting. If you continue to access and/or use the Website and/or the Sites, it will constitute acceptance of the modified Terms & Conditions.
III. DISCLAIMER
TripZig shall not be liable for any damages and/or loss relating to the use of, or reliance upon, the Website and/or the Sites.
